Indulge your creativity and performance skills in collaboration with your fellow campers. You'll write an original story around songs, including group performances, simple harmonies, and solos. You'll be introduced to stagecraft, choreography, and design simple costumes and props.
This creative and multidisciplinary one-week camp ends with a performance for family and friends.
All of our day camps take place at The Royal Conservatory, 273 Bloor Street West, in Downtown Toronto. Campers will have opportunities to spend time outside (weather permitting) and often take music related field trips to locations such as the Royal Ontario Museum (ROM), the Edward Johnson Building (University of Toronto Faculty of Music), or jazz performances in Yorkville.
Detailed instructions on what to bring will be sent in your camp welcome email, but please plan to bring a nut-free lunch and snacks, a water bottle, indoor shoes and outdoor shoes, season/weather appropriate clothing, and a change of clothes.
Let's Make a Musical! is designed to encourage creative storytelling, collaboration, singing, performing, and movement in a group setting. Campers will not be enrolled in private lessons or receive 1:1 musical instrument instruction during their time at camp. To register for private lessons, please visit our website, or book a counselling call with our Registration Team to learn more about other programming options.
Last-minute absences from the camp due to medical reasons may be considered on a case-by-case basis. All early and after care fees are non-refundable. Please refer to our withdrawal policies for detailed information.
